Text and Supplies for GD1

TEXTBOOK: Graphic Design Solutions, by Robin Landa. 3rd Edition.
Suggested Reading:
“A History of Graphic Design: by Philip Meggs
Communication Arts, Print, HOW, IDE Magazines (which can be found in the Thrift Library).

SUPPLIES:
Hardcover sketchbook
3-ring binder (2” max should do it)
LetraMax board (black, 15x20, ~20 sheets)
Flash Drive (1GB minimum, but I would greatly recommend 2 & 4 GB versions)
Digital Camera (at least have the use of one that is decent)
T-square
Xacto
Pencils
Sharpie Markers (thick and thin)
Mounting Board (black)
Tracing Paper
Metal Ruler (18” minimum w/cork back)
Clear Plastic Sheet Protectors for 3-ring binder
Divider Tabs (8) for 3-ring binder
Super 77 Spray Adhesive

Optional:
You may choose to buddy up with friends to purchase these together, as you most likely will not need a full amount to create the project.

Small Bottle of Wintergreen Oil (may be purchased at the bookstore or at health food outlets)
11X14 pad of Bristol Board
Q-Tips
Bone Folder (if the bookstore does not have them, any art supply store will)
